Tomorrow, May 4th, our community will come together to give back to local nonprofits and share why we support them. The Big Give is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to connect and celebrate with nonprofits, but at SA2020 we also love the support and camaraderie between nonprofits on this day.

I just finished picking up Big Give prizes donated by our generous Partners, Woodlawn Theatre, The Playhouse and San Antonio Zoo. These prizes will be up for grabs during bingo at our Give 2020 party at Alamo Beer (Thursday, 3 pm – 9 pm)! Huge thank you to these organizations for donating some amazing items to give away to a few lucky folks. Each of these kind Partners wished us luck, to which I responded, “Likewise!” It was a great reminder of how we are all in the business of service with the bottom line of changing lives. It’s refreshing to know we are all working from a place of passion and a spirit of cooperation. These Partners reminded me there’s always a greater purpose, something beyond our organizations and ourselves. The interconnectedness of community is ever-present in San Antonio.

That’s why, for the 3rd year in a row, SA2020 will be celebrating The Big Give with our #Give2020 campaign. We encourage supporters to give $10 to SA2020, and then give another $10 to an SA2020 Partner. All of our Partners’ outcomes directly affect our shared vision for a thriving San Antonio, so your support will truly help us move the needle on the goals we prioritized as a community.
