Check out all of the San Antonio parks we’ve visited this year as part of our #SA2020Resolutions.

After spending time exploring the picturesque, serene Denman Estate Park, my kids and I were ready to find a playground. So, for the first time ever on our #SA2020Resolutions park challenge, we visited two parks in one day. I asked my GPS for directions to the closest park and Olympia Park popped up on the screen.

As we’ve already seen from Chris Park, a park doesn’t have to be huge to be great. San Antonio has over 185 parks, many of them smaller, neighborhood parks, like Olympia.

At just over two acres, this clean, pretty park includes lots of amenities families appreciate: two play structures (one for bigger kids, the other for small), swings, a pavilion to rent, a basketball court (first come, first serve), a softball field (for rent), and restrooms. Parking is available on the street.
