We are so excited to welcome Andrea Lopez, our new Partnership Manager. Andrea has a background in nonprofits and education, and she’ll be using her experience and talents to better help support our SA2020 Partners. With a team member dedicated to nonprofit Partners, SA2020 will demonstrate the impact nonprofit organizations have on a community, their connections to our collective goals, and how the rest of San Antonio can get involved in their work. You can learn more about Andrea’s background here, but we also wanted to ask her some hard-hitting questions. Read on to get to know the newest SA2020 team member!
What is the SA2020 Cause Area that speaks most to you and why?
Family Well-Being– I come from a large family; I learned the value of my self-worth and how to be as an individual from my familial relationships. My parents are divorced, yet have always ensured that my best interest is foremost. I firmly believe family is the foundation upon which all other aspects of our lives are built.
With which organization did you last volunteer?
What is your favorite thing about San Antonio?
I love the cultural richness of our city. The history and character that endures in areas even in the midst of growth and revitalization speaks to our cultural legacy.
On the weekend, we can catch you at what San Antonio location?
The Pearl!…and any place downtown for that matter. I love walkable areas.
Now for the most difficult questions…
Do you have a hidden talent? And, if so, what is it?
Singing- I can carry a tune surprisingly well (especially with help from shower acoustics).
If you had a super power, what would it be?
What’s on your bucket list?
Become a spokesperson or a motivational speaker
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
