We’re thrilled to be welcoming three more San Antonians to the SA2020 Board of Directors. In addition to serving the community through their professional work—including in K-12 education, transit, and higher education—our newest Board members also contribute their experience and expertise to several SA2020 Nonprofit Partners. Get to know Adrian, Marisa, and Willie below!

Adrian Jackson is the Director of Marketing & Strategic Communications at St. Philip’s College. If you joined us for our last Impact Report Luncheon in January 2020, you might remember her helping to kick off our yearlong community engagement process. Before joining the SA2020 Board, Adrian was an SA2020 Ambassador. She also serves on the Board of San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside (SAGE), an SA2020 Partner.

Marisa Bono is the Chief Strategic Officer at VIA Transit. Marisa previously served as the Chief of Policy for the Mayor’s Office where she helped link policy to the Community Vision. She is also on the Board of Intercultural Development Research Association, an SA2020 Partner.

Willie T. Burroughs is the Chief Operations Officer at SAISD. (You can learn more about his work at SAISD on this episode of The Story Goes… podcast!) Last year, Willie served as an SA2020 Ambassador after learning about our work through Leadership San Antonio. Willie serves on the Board of the ACE Mentoring Program, an SA2020 Partner.
