How Urban Progress Corporation impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Urban Progress Corporation (UPC) strives to enhance the creation of new housing and the rehabilitation of existing housing in low-income neighborhoods. UPC is the sole owner of Las Palmas Garden Apartments, a multi-family rental housing community that provides 100 affordable housing units to very low-income, low-income and moderate-income families. Las Palmas Gardens serves low-income Latino, immigrant and underserved residents of the Westside of San Antonio and provide no-cost supportive services to the residents of the property and surrounding community. Ultimately, Urban Progress Corporation wants to make its housing an example of excellence for the greater San Antonio community.
