How San Antonio AIDS Foundation impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision
The San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF) was founded in 1986 to provide hospice care to individuals with AIDS and has since evolved into a multi-disciplinary health care provider. SAAF leads with health education and the understanding that sexual health is crucial to overall health. For people living with HIV, SAAF’s continuum of care includes case management, mental health counseling, medical care, housing, a year-round hot meal program, and more. Additionally, SAAF offers testing for HIV and STIs, as well as sexual health education in local public schools, colleges and universities, adult probation facilities and teen detention programs.Â
