Ride Connect Texas seeks to enhance mobility for older adults and people with disabilities to preserve dignity and promote healthy aging by coordinating and providing educational and transportation services. While Ride Connect Texas prioritizes medical and health-related transportation needs, rides are also provided for shopping, banking, social/family visits and work/worship throughout San Antonio / Bexar County with free to low-cost curb-to-curb, door-to-door, or door-through-door ride assistance. Rides can be customized, with advance notice, per client as some may request multiple stops. By helping their clients make it to their doctor’s appointment, senior center, or grocery shopping, Ride Connect Texas makes transportation services accessible for its clients to maintain independence and live a good quality life.
