How Project Transformation Rio Texas impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Project Transformation Rio Texas works with young adults and children to ignite a lifelong love for service, leadership, and learning rooted in Christian ministry. College interns lead a literacy program in neighborhood churches, tutoring and mentoring elementary students. The program emphasizes relationship-building in a safe environment, building the reading levels and self-esteem of the children, while growing the leadership of the young adults. Through this program, Project Transformation Rio Texas works to re-anchor churches as spaces to strengthen neighborhoods and communities.
