How Planned Parenthood South Texas impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Birth control is vital for everyone wishing to lift themselves out of poverty, and create opportunities for themselves and their children. When women delay pregnancy until they are ready to parent, they can achieve their education and career goals, and realize their full potential. This decreases reliance on government funded safety nets and promotes economic self-sufficiency. Family planning helps ensure that children are born wanted, cared for & loved, while combatting social problems closely related to poverty, like domestic violence, teen pregnancy and teen drop-outs.
