How Goodwill Industries of San Antonio impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Since 1945, Goodwill San Antonio's purpose has been centered on, "Fighting Poverty, Creating Opportunity" and drives forward our mission of "Helping Change Lives Through the Power of Work." Goodwill provides workforce development services for vulnerable and at-risk populations; those who face significant life barriers to employment or education, opportunity youth, those experiencing generational poverty, those with a criminal history, among others. We do so with a focus on education, training, and career services; transforming lives through career advancement. Goodwill San Antonio leverages social enterprises through our Business Services and Donated Goods Retail business lines which fund internal and external Mission Services. Our key community-facing programs include: Good Career Centers, Good Careers Academy, NXT Level Youth Opportunity Program, Reentry Services.
