For Her is a San Antonio-based women’s advocacy organization that advances women towards autonomy through the power of shared knowledge, community, compassionate support, and practical resources. For Her offers a brave space for women to be authentic and take bold steps to realize full potential, cultivates a sense of community that is critical for long-term stability and wellness, and has the freedom to offer personalized support without the limitations of typical social services. For Her provides free licensed professional counseling, peer support, and individual advocacy to women in the community that have survived violence and exploitation or are experiencing barriers and are not otherwise able to access these services. For Her’s programs are designed to break cycles of trauma and move women towards self-sufficiency and overall holistic well-being in order to improve the lives of themselves and their families.
