How Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

The Chromosome 18 Research & Registry Society (“Chromosome 18”) supports families and individuals with chromosome 18 abnormalities through advocacy and connection. Chromosome 18 aims to help people with chromosome 18 abnormalities lead healthy lives, ultimately hoping to make the abnormalities a fully treatable genetic condition. Through a variety of educational and social support events, Chromosome 18 provides important care to families. Chromosome 18 also created the only research center in the world for chromosome 18 conditions: the Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center at UT Health San Antonio.
