How Artpace San Antonio impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Artpace gives San Antonio free access to a world of art and culture through the International Artist-in-Residence program and its affiliated programs and events. Artpace's residencies, exhibitions, and public programs are a center of creative activity for all of San Antonio and beyond. Through the International Artist-in-Residence program, Artpace brings three distinguished curators and nine artists a year from across Texas, the United States, and the world to create new art and exhibit this art in San Antonio. Artpace provides opportunities for the San Antonio community and visitors alike to engage with the diverse roster of artists who participate in the residency program, including Artist Talks and exhibition opening receptions. In carrying out its mission and providing unprecedented free access to the world's most renowned art and artists, Artpace helps make San Antonio a world-class arts and culture destination. In San Antonio and around the world, Artpace Makes Art Happen.
