How Artpace San Antonio impacts San Antonio's shared Community Vision

Artpace gives San Antonians access to an international world of art and culture through the International Artist-in-Residence Program and its affiliated programs and events. Our residencies, exhibitions, and public programs are a hub of creative activity for San Antonio. Through the International Artist-in-Residence Program, we bring three curators and nine artists a year from across the globe to create and exhibit brand new work in our San Antonio facility. We provide opportunities throughout the residency for San Antonians and visitors alike to engage with the diverse roster of artists who participate in the residency program, including open studios and exhibition opening receptions. In carrying out our mission and providing unprecedented access to the world’s most renowned art and artists, Artpace helps San Antonio reach the goals set by SA2020 by making our city a world-class arts and culture destination. In San Antonio and around the world, Artpace Makes Art Happen.
