Michelle was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Her grandparents were local business owners on San Antonio’s westside. After graduating from Marshall High School, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While attending school, she began her career at STRAC, a 501c3 non-profit specializing in the Regional Emergency Healthcare System in Southwest Texas. She is currently the Chief of Staff at STRAC, overseeing HR, Administration, IT, and Data Analytics. Additionally, she participated in the San Antonio Hispanic Chambers’ ABLDP cohort in 2018 and returned as a steering committee member in 2022.
Outside her work experience and professional development, Michelle also actively serves on the Big Mamas Safe House board. Her favorite hobbies include competitive sports, Crossfit, and spending time with her two rescue dogs.
