Michele Autenrieth Brown is a strategic marketer, a multi-tasker, and a voracious reader. She loves insights, working through challenges from all angles, processes that drive results, and people who are passionate about their work. She has a soft spot for kids, mental health, and ensuring every child has the opportunity for a quality education, no matter their zip code.
Michele is the Chief Operating Officer at GDC Marketing & Ideation, a strategic marketing, communications, and engagement agency based in San Antonio, with offices throughout Texas and Washington DC. In her advertising career, she has worked on blue chip brands like Citibank, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and others.
Michele spent 20 years at GDC before taking a five-year absence to work on passion projects in the nonprofit sector at Clarity Child Guidance Center, a children’s mental health hospital system and at KIPP Texas Public Schools. She rejoined GDC in 2020.
Michele is a former television news producer and assignments editor and worked in music programming and on-air in radio. She was in Leadership San Antonio Class 32 (#BestClassEver), served on the Steering Committee for LSA Class 34, as the co-chair in Class 35, and on the executive committee of the LSA Alumni Association. She has been named “40 Under 40” by the San Antonio Business Journal.
Michele is married to Will Brown and they have a son in college and a daughter in high school.
