Mary Kate grew up in the small town of Wimberley, Texas and moved to San Antonio to attend Trinity University. While in school, she interned with Bromley Communications and Gemini Ink and spent a semester studying Spanish and Communication in Spain. Mary Kate graduated with a BA in Communication in 2012. She was thrilled to stick around San Antonio after graduation, learning more about the city while working in digital marketing, and in 2015 joined the SA2020 team. When she’s not writing and designing, she loves to travel, read, and obsessively follow the Spurs.
