Audree Moreno Hernandez is the Director of Strategic Initiatives, providing high-level strategic cross-team management for projects that impact design, growth, support, and that innovate College Advising Corps. Audree works to implement and support activities that drive the adoption of organization-wide initiatives and the effectiveness of CAC’s in-school and virtual models to achieve CAC’s vision and goal to propel one million students to higher education by 2025.
After working for three years as Director of Strategic and Organizational Development for an engineering firm, Audree returned to college access, where she previously spent more than 13 years supporting first-generation, underrepresented students in different capacities. She served CAC as Senior Director of Programs, Senior Regional Director, and Regional Director from 2014 to 2018 and launched Trinity University’s College Advising Corps program in 2011. While at Trinity University, she also worked for its grant-funded TRIO Upward Bound and McNair Scholars programs as Assistant Director.
Audree received a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is currently an MBA candidate at Louisiana State University Shreveport. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, and her two rescued cats, JJ and Gigi.
