Ariane Etemadi spent her childhood in Southern California but has called San Antonio home for more than 20 years. She received both her bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio (Go ‘Runners!) She develops procedures and systems for the organization to achieve organizational goals.
Prior to taking her operations role, Ariane served as the Communications Manager for SA2020 where she oversaw all organizational communications and executed outreach events. She has years of experience in event planning and project management, and she loves all things logistics and project management. Ariane has worked closely with many individuals and teams in San Antonio to organize awesome events – including a visit from First Lady Michelle Obama, during Destination College in 2014.
She is a graduate of the 2017 Alex Briseño Leadership Development Program (ABLDP) class through the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and actively serves on the PechaKucha Night San Antonio planning committee, the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County’s Ready Children Impact Council as well as on the board of her homeowners association.
Fun Fact: Ariane loves mascots (she’s been photographed with more than 18!) and has a can of emergency googly eyes in her desk.
